3-Day Murchison Falls safari

Setting off Early morning at 05:00hrs, the company Guide / driver will pick you from your place of accommodation and shall shortly brief you on a 3days trip for 5minutes before the departure. Thereafter at exactly 05:05hrs shall embark on the journey to Murchison Falls National Park.

There after driving to Masindi on a highway, and before Masindi town you will probably make a stopover shortly to buy some fruits, if considered. Then shall proceed to Masindi town where you will enjoy your lunch depending on a resolution being made.

After, continuing to Murchison Falls National. Park, check in and then ready to depart at to the landing site for ferry crossing in order to cross over to the Northern sector for the evening Game drive. Northern side has the highest concentration of the game than the southern section.

The Game drive will take 2-4hrs and you will encounter various species of animals such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, Nile crocodiles, various birds and on a lucky day you will see numerous lions, leopards species are permanent residents of this National park.

After the Game drive shall take a ferry crossing back to the southern bank, and will drive to your place of accommodation and an overnight.

With early morning breakfast at 05:30hrs, the company driver will pick you up from the lodge ready to depart at 6:00hrs to the landing site for ferry crossing at 7:00hrs in order to cross over to the Northern sector for morning Game drive.

Early morning is a great time to catch up with the nocturnal before returning to their hide outs and the Northern side has the highest concentration of the game than the southern section.

The Game drive will take around 3hrs and you will encounter various species of animals such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, numerous lions, hippos, Nile crocodiles and various birds species are permanent residents of this National park.

After lunch, at exactly 13:00hrs we shall drive back to the landing site where you will have a launch cruise which departs at14:00hrs heading to the bottom of the falls getting close to the mighty falls where the Nile river gets compressed in a 6 meter gap before falling about 42 meters  down forming a thunderous roar.

This Cruise will give you a great opportunity for bird watching and game viewing with various animals like elephants, buffaloes, hippos, Nile crocodiles, monitor lizards and aquatic birds like cormorants, king fisher, African open bill stock, Fish Eagle and others.
